FATTY FATTY NO FRIENDS
BY SERRANA GAY, ILLUSTRATIONS BY ASHLEY SOLIMAN

FATTY FATTY NO FRIENDS tells the story of Tommy, an overweight kid struggling to get through that most wretched time of life: childhood. Days, weeks, and years of teasing from his schoolmates have taken their toll on the mild-mannered boy, yet still he tries to continue on as best he can. But when the people he thought were his friends join in with the others, will he be able to forgive them...or will he snap?

AUTHOR

GIANMARCO SORESI is not as Italian as his name would suggest. He is also a writer, stand-up comedian, storyteller and actor, best known for starring in some General Electric commercials, like, two years ago. Unsure what to focus on, his recent works include an award-winning sketch series, Matza Pizza, and web series, An Actor Unprepared, both of which are available on YouTube. His autobiographical play, Less Than 50%, debuted in the New York Fringe Festival, transferred Off-Broadway for Fringe Encores and will be revived Off-Broadway in 2018. As a stand-up comedian he can be seen on SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest and performs at Carolines, The Creek and The Cave, Gotham, Metropolitan Room, Broadway Comedy Club, The PIT, UCB, QED and more. His first hour-special, Infinite Bris, is due for release later this year. Besides his commercial work, you might recognize him as Reporter #2 from Blue Bloods (CBS), Unforgettable (A&E), Hack My Life (TruTV), I Love You But I Lied! (Lifetime), A Crime To Remember (Investigation Discovery), Clown Bar (Pipeline Theatre Company) and the EST One-Act Marathon.  He’ll be performing this summer in Fernando at the New Ohio Theatre’s Ice Factory Festival. You can also see him regularly with 3XBackyard Brawl winning sketch team Uncle Function at The PIT. Along with producer Lindsay-Elizabeth Hand (Edge in Motion Productions) and director/editor Jeff Rabinak he creates HILARIOUS branded comedy content. Writing odd, alliterative “children’s” books is one of the few times Gianmarco experiences joy and he is honored, amazed and elated to once again collaborate with the aficionados of the unusual, Mind The Art Entertainment. May he live by the principles espoused in Sisyphus and Sam.

ILLUSTRATOR

BRIAN CHENG- This is the first book Brian has illustrated in 20 years. The last book he produced was for a middle school class telling the tale of overcoming your fear of going to the dentist. Only one edition of that book was ever created (which lives on his parent’s bookshelf), so Brian is overjoyed to have many copies of Sisyphus and Sam printed. Since his last book, Brian has as added actor, public relations coordinator and title-holding drag queen to his many hats. Brian was absolutely thrilled to have worked on this project with Gianmarco. (And so glad that he responded to Mr. Soresi's Facebook post about needing an illustrator!) He also thanks Mind The Art Entertainment for sharing this book with the world!
